Rimutaka Hill is closed following a serious crash on State Highway Two.

Initial indications suggest at least one person has been seriously injured.

The road is expected to be closed while emergency services attend.

Motorists travelling over the Rimutaka Hill, SH2, are advised to avoid the area, as there will be significant delays.
